Synopsis
LEO is in crisis with his partner. He works twelve hours a day as a taxi driver in Rosario. The city is changing, and that overwhelms him. An unforeseen event in his taxi forces him to modify his routine. In the streets of the tense city he is crossed with situations that sharpen his discomfort. He has always been contained, but now seems ready to explode.
Director's bio
Diego M. Castro born in Rosario, Argentina in 1979. He attended film school in Rosario and graduated at National University of Rosario. He made several short films including 8:05 (2010) which was selected by numerous national and international film festivals including Locarno´s Pardi di Domani, BAFICI and ZINEBI. Since 2015 he works as Director and screenwriter in cultural televisión Program Señal Santa Fe where he directed the TV Docs Los Movimientos (2016) and Los Transmisores (2017), also the Video Installation Semilla at the Museo de Ciencias Naturales Dr. Angel Gallardo. He lives and produces in Rosario. 1100 is his first feature film.
