Synopsis
It ́s 1955. Rosa is a skillful seamstress and lover of detective stories. One night she becomes the only witness of a murder accomplished by her neighbor. From that moment, her fantasy world and reality collide; she becomes the protagonist of her own detective story.
Director's bio
Mariano Turek was born in Buenos Aires in 1976 and graduated from Universidad del Cine as film director. From 1996 to 2000 he works as a professional crew member in the areas of sound, AD and production. During 2011, he directs the 13-episode series “Diario de Viaje” and the 8-episode series “Misión Aventura”, produced por Conicet and Paka-Paka. “About a woman” is his first feature.
Luján Loioco was graduated from Universidad del Cine as a film director. On 2010, she was honored with an Ibermedia grant to assist the “Feature Screenplay Writing Workshop” in Spain. “The girl in yellow heels” is her first feature premiered at BAFICI 2015 and screened at over 25 festivals around the world. “About a woman” is her second feature co-directed with Mariano Turek.
