Synopsis
Uriel is convinced that to avoid suffering in this life, he must pretend he’s someone else, half hidden, half revealed. He has left his feelings to their own devices, his emotions are adrift. His reunion with Gloria will change his point of view on his own life. He finds his destiny, or starts to believe we have one in our hands.
Director's bio
Daniel Burman was born in Buenos Aires in 1973. He is one of the most prominent figures of New Argentine Cinema. He has directed eleven films and has produced more than seventeen movies. He has been awarded with the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival; Grand Prix of Public in Biarritz; FIPRESCI Prize at Valladolid; Coral Prize in Havana; Audience Award, Iberoamerican Film and SIGNIS at MDQ Film Fest. In 2008 he received the Achievement Award from the Israel Cinematheque during the Jerusalem Jewish Film Festival. In 2011 he received the Visionary Award, from the Washington Jewish Community Center at Washington International Jewish Film Festival.
