Synopsis
Marcos and Susana are two brothers in their sixties, they live in a continuous and comic confrontation. Their lives and temperaments are completely different, but they are forced to strengthen their relationship after the death of their mother. Susana, with a personality between supporter and delusional, convinces her brother Marcos, a cultured and sensitive man, to buy an old house in a Uruguayan town. In this way they will begin a new period of their life in which they will not know how to be together, nor apart.
Director's bio
Daniel Burman was born in Buenos Aires in 1973. He is one of the most prominent figures of New Argentine Cinema. He has directed eleven films and has produced more than seventeen movies. He has been awarded with the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival; Grand Prix of Public in Biarritz; FIPRESCI Prize at Valladolid; Coral Prize in Havana; Audience Award, Iberoamerican Film and SIGNIS at MDQ Film Fest. In 2008 he received the Achievement Award from the Israel Cinematheque during the Jerusalem Jewish Film Festival. In 2011 he received the Visionary Award, from the Washington Jewish Community Center at Washington International Jewish Film Festival.
