Synopsis
The story of this film begins when the artist and his work become independent forever. Gorriarena dies and his work begins an existence where the author is not there to explain, replace or modify it. The assembly of an exhibition is the excuse to explore both material and ideological decisions that coexist in an artist's work. The film explores some of these decisions and their results, trying to show what gestures of love, trust, order, admiration or greed it arouses, and in the process it tries to find the path of the painter and maybe, just maybe , get closer to your truth. A truth that is expressed through color, a critical and scathing realism, ironic denunciation and an energetic resistance to being “accused” of being a political and social painter.
