Synopsis

1985. Carmen and Rosa are about to give birth to their babies in the local hospital. The two women are neighbors and their husbands, Pedro and dark Ramón, have the same last name: García. When the Garcías meet their daughters, they cannot hide their surprise In this way, the unique story of the Garcia neighbors and their daughters begins: two girls changed on the day they were born… or after.


Director's bio

Pablo José Meza (writer, director and producer) was born in Argentine, in 1974. He studied at the Fundación Universidad del Cine (FUC – Film University Foundation) between 1994 and 1997, graduating as Film Director. In 1997 and for another year and a half, he also studied for his BA degree at the same university. His first film, ""BUENOS AIRES 100 KM."" (2004) is a co-production with France. It premiered throughout Latin America, France and Spain, and won more than 15 international awards, including the award for Best Unpublished Screenplay at the Havana Film Festival, the award for Best Director at the Washington Film Festival, and the awards from Best First Feature, Best Screenplay and Jury Award at the Huelva Film Festival. His second film, “LA VIEJA DE ATRÁS” (2010) is a co-production with Brazil and achieved great international distinctions. Commercially released in Argentina and Brazil. His third film “LAS INESES” (2016) is also a co-production with Brazil, its a comedy, and was the fiction more viewed at Cinear during 2018. Commercially released in Argentina and Brazil.
