Synopsis
An old, awarded bull embarks on his final journey. From his green and fertile Pampa towards his final destination: the slaughterhouse. Going across the plains on a cattle truck, the voice in his head remembers strange stories about Argentina ́s beef industry and the social tensions around it.
Director's bio
Alberto Romero is a director, screenwriter and composer. He’s a partner at Puente Films and Zebra Cine. He directed the doc “Carne propia” and the feature “Infierno grande”. He co-wrote “Who killed Mariano Ferreyra?” and “Alicia”, by Alejandro Rath, and “Pichuco” and “Una noche solos”, by Martín Turnes.
He’s currently developing “El Hacha”, a docu-thriller about the fragile bond between living creatures and their environments, located at the Caldén Forest in south-western La Pampa.
