School of deafs

Synopsis

Alejandra is founder and teacher at a school for the deaf in a small town. She has become more than just a teacher: she teaches, she helps out, she gives advice and acts as an interpreter. Between the daily routine at home and her work, her life has been dedicated to the integration of the deaf in the community. In this film words give way so that silence itself and small gestures allow us to reflect upon the problems of special education through a precise and austere eye, that’s also sensitive and humane.
