Synopsis
Students from different university degrees prepare to sit for final exams. Botany, anatomy, sociology, medieval philosophy, criminal law, morphology, theoretical physics and piano. Each one uses their own skills to cope with the disturbing situation of oral presentation, the most common evaluative practice in Argentine universities.
Between the drama, the tension and the absurd moments of each exam, the study subjects begin to find unexpected relationships.
Director's bio
Graduated from the career of Image and Sound Design (FADU-UBA).
She worked as an assistant director in different fiction and documentary projects, as a film programmer at BAFICI, and is a teacher at film schools in Buenos Aires.
She currently works at the Buenos Aires Film Museum, producing educational audiovisual projects such as: Intervened Events (2014) and Intervened Files: Cine Escuela (2016).
The Faculties is her first feature film as a director.
