Synopsis
Atlético Pabarile, the weakest team in the third sardinian category, is humiliated year after year by Montecrastu, the team led by Brai, an arrogant squire who usually oppresses his Atlético pawns in their role as patron of residence. The return to the country of the young emigrant Matzutzi reverses the balance in the championship and Atlético Pabarile begins to win game after game, thanks to the feats of his new prodigy.
Director's bio
Paolo Zucca was born in Italy in 1972. His undergraduate film, Banana Rossa, was selected for the 'Young Director Awards' at Cannes and for the International Press Golden Globe in Italy. It was nominated in different festivals among which the Odesa International Film Festival and the Guadalajara International Film Festival stand out. El árbitro won awards at the BIFEST (2014) and at the Festival Univerciné Italien (2014).
