The Senses

Synopsis

In a semi-desert area of ​​the Salta Puna is Olacapato, the highest town in Argentina. A small town where the possibilities of growth are conditioned by the harsh environment. However, despite the uncertain future of the community, where the importance of the school is fundamental, a couple of teachers carry out a unique educational project, in which Newton's laws, Jules Verne novels and the manufacture of jet-powered rockets are present.


Director's bio

Born in Buenos Aires, he graduated as architect at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism (UBA) and as filmmaker at IDAC (Institute of Cinematographic Arts of Avellaneda). He directed the documentaries Habitación Disponible (2004), El Tiempo Encontrado (2014) y Los sentidos (2016), which were screened on different international festivals obtaining various awards and distinctions. He worked as script consultant in many fiction films and documentaries. At present he is Professor at the School of Communication Sciences (University of Buenos Aires) and Film Narrative and Cinematographic Aesthetics at IDAC.
